Available courses

This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and meets the requirements for certification as Fire Officer 2. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be given a Certificate of Completion which allows the student to take the certification exam from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. The Texas Commission on Fire Protection requires an individual to hold a Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Instructor 1 certification, Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Officer 1 certification, and complete an approved Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Officer 2 course in order to be eligible for certification.

Required Textbooks:

For this course, we will be using the IFSTA, Fire and Emergency Services Company Officer, Fifth edition. All students are required to provide their own textbook. ISBN # 978-0-87939-564-3

This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and meets the requirements for certification a Hazardous Materials Incident Commander. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be given a Certificate of Completion which allows the student to take the certification exam from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

Testing component that enhances face-to-face learning for the TCFP Driver/Operator-Aerial class taught in Liberty, Texas.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be given a Certificate of Completion which allows the student to take the certification exam from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.  The Texas Commission on Fire Protection requires an individual to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and complete an approved Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Instructor 2 course in order to be eligible for certification. Individuals with less than 3 years can take the course and upon successfully passing the state exam, can apply for their IFSAC seal for Fire Instructor 2.
